On-Site Training
My First On-Site BLS Class
This is where it all started: my first on-site BLS class, held at Van Chiropractic. The team practiced adult and infant CPR, AED use, and bag-mask ventilation together, right in their own office. I can bring this same hands-on training to your home or workplace.
CPR, BLS & First Aid FAQ
Which class should I take?
- BLS (Basic Life Support): for healthcare workers and students, such as nurses, CNAs, EMTs and dental staff. It covers high-quality CPR, AED use, choking, and team-based rescue with tools like a bag-mask. To earn your BLS card, you'll also need to pass a 25-question written exam with a score of 84% or higher.
- CPR & AED: for everyone else, such as parents, teachers, coaches, and workplaces. It covers CPR, AED use and choking for adults, children and infants.
- CPR + First Aid + AED: everything in CPR & AED, plus first aid for bleeding, allergic reactions, burns and other emergencies. Often required for caregivers, childcare providers and many workplaces.
Not sure? Ask your employer or licensing agency which card they require, or send me a message and I'll help you choose.
Are your classes official American Heart Association courses?
Yes. My BLS, CPR & AED, and CPR + First Aid + AED classes are official American Heart Association (AHA) courses.
Will I get a certification card?
Yes. Once you complete the class, you'll receive an official AHA eCard by email.
How long is my card good for?
Two years. I'd love to see you again for your renewal!
Where are public classes held?
Top Notch Taekwondo, 16169 SE 106th Ave, Clackamas, OR 97015.
Where do I park?
Park in any of the first 6 spots with the red-and-white "Reserved Parking Only" Top Notch Taekwondo signs. After those fill, there's easy street parking nearby.
What should I bring? Is there anything to do before class?
Just wear comfortable clothes and come ready to learn! There's no online coursework to do beforehand. Everything happens in class, hands-on.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Class fees are non-refundable, but life happens, so rescheduling is easy:
- 48 hours or more before class: reschedule once for free, into any class within the next 90 days.
- Less than 48 hours before class, or if you miss class: reschedule for a $25 fee.
- If I have to cancel a class: you can pick a new date or get a full refund.
Just call, text, or email me to reschedule.
What if I'm running late?
The AHA requires you to complete the full class to earn your card, so if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you'll need to reschedule (the $25 fee applies).
Can you teach a class at my workplace or care home?
Yes! I offer on-site group training. See the on-site training details above, or send me an inquiry.
